Regardless of whether you have a matter that is transactional or are filing a lawsuit against a corporation or individual, a collection agency or defending a complaint, you need an attorney who can raise the right claims or defenses on your behalf.

Too often, people who are served with a lawsuit allow default judgments to be entered against them for failing to show, answer and appear.  Don't let that happen to you.

Torts come in several legal varities.  For instance, intentional torts like battery and assault, property torts, economic, nuisance and negligence are just a few.  One of the most litigated torts is an action for defamation where the individual thinks a false statement has been made against them which has harmed their reputation and caused damages to result.  Because there are so many different areas and issues that can arise in a tort action, it is very important to consult an attorney to determine what the right cause of action would be for your particular circumstance. Illinois Governmental Tort

Usually, if your civil rights have been trampled, you could possibly sue for tort under the Federal Tort Claims act.  Before the Federal Tort Claims Act was enacted, you could not sue the government without its permission.  Now, under this act, assuming the proper steps have been taken, you can sue for any tort committed against you.

§ 801.1 Claims filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

"If an agency employee is acting within the scope of his or her employment and causes injury to a member of the public, any claim for money damages for personal injury, death, damage to property, or loss of property caused by the employee's negligent or wrongful act or omission is a claim against the United States and must first be presented by the injured party to the appropriate federal agency for administrative action under the Federal Tort Claims Act."

Therefore, allow us to fight on your behalf and hold those individuals/entties responsible for trampling on your constitutional rights.
